Oil, quantity and yields province by province of those who harvested in October

Olive oil production is growing across almost all of Italy, thanks to increased yields and the southern regions. Here's who's doing better and who's doing worse compared to the same period last year.

Over 333 thousand tons of olives they were collected and taken to the mills between September and OctoberThey produced a total of almost 47 thousand tons of olive oil, 46% more of the same period last year (when there were 32.980). The sharp increase was driven by the southern regions on the one hand, and by a general growth in yields on the other.

In particular the Puglia, where the harvest is practically at the beginning, has already doubled its production compared to 31 October 2024 (from 4.850 to 8.201 tonnes), as well as Calabria (from 3.481 to 6.700), while a growth of 25% was recorded in Sicilia (from 9.045 to 11.583), by 20% in Campania (from 1.944 to 2.386) and 15% in Lazio (from 2.817 to 3.282). Bad in Sardinia with a drop of almost 25% (from 595 to 43). Moving up the peninsula, theAbruzzo is growing by over 65% (from 2.680 to 4.381). In central Italy the same 65% growth is recorded by Toscana (from 3.343 to 5.131), by 56%Umbria (from 705 to 1.290), bad Brands with production almost halved (747 against 1.353) and theEmilia Romagna (from 530 to 429). Things are no better at Liguria which also loses more than 50% (from 385 to 178), while the Veneto it even reaches a 70% increase (from 234 to 338 tons).

At the level of travel we go from just over 9% in Piedmont e Lombardia, at almost 19% of Imperia and, in the south, 17,5% of CatanzaroHere, in detail, province by province, are the tons of olives harvested, tons of oil produced, and yields based on the Sian Olive Oil Register updated to October 31, 2025.
