he great event of agricultural mechanics for the Mediterranean, which holds its seventh edition in Bari from 5 to 8 October next, confirms itself as an important event in the international trade fair calendar. Characterized by a strong specialization in the agricultural production of the Mediterranean area, the Bari event has seen its attractiveness constantly grow, attracting a vast audience of visitors and qualified operators coming not only from the traditional area of interest but also from emerging countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

In addition to foreign exhibiting companies – 50 representing 20 countries, including the United States, India, China, Germany, France and Spain – they are expected in Bari approximately 120 official delegates from 27 countries (including Turkmenistan, Iran, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Algiers, Tunisia, Egypt and Lebanon), whose incoming was organized byICE agency in collaboration with FederUnacoma, the Italian association of agricultural machinery manufacturers which is the direct organizer of the event. These are joined by the audience of foreign operators and visitors who are independent of the official delegations and who are expected in large numbers (in the last edition of 2019 there were over 3.500 from 64 countries).

In the pavilions of the Fiera del Levante, foreign delegations will have the opportunity to appreciate the technologies most suited to the agricultural economies of their country, selecting them among the over 5 thousand models on display, and will participate in business meetings with exhibiting companies. Aimed at the purchase of new generation mechanical vehicles and systems for the cereal, wine, olive oil, fruit and vegetable, livestock and bioenergy sectors, the “business to business” meetings – explains the Federation of Manufacturers – will be held on 5 and 6 October. Meetings with exhibiting companies will take place in a pavilion specially set up in the northern area of the exhibition centre, where operators will be able to make use of the reception and interpreting services provided by the ICE Agency and FederUnacoma. Representatives of banking institutions, brokerage firms and law firms will also be present in the area, with whom FederUnacoma has entered into agreements, to provide personalized assistance in insurance, financial and contractual matters to the companies present.

“Dedicating an entire pavilion to 'business to business' activities is a strategic choice linked to the growing success of Agrilevante – underlines FederUnacoma – an event that was born with a strong Mediterranean character but which is acquiring an increasingly global profile”.
