Missing, as recalled by Confagricoltura, the official announcement, it is not known whether waiting for thepermission from Brussels to increase the public contribution rate from 50 to 65% and up to 80% in the case of a young entrepreneur (There are those who argue that Puglia will still maintain 50% support to expand the number of beneficiaries). But who is interested in availing this opportunity with respect to which you are over 27 million resources available, you can already draft your application. Going to verify - with the resolution of the Regional Council n.390 of 27 April last - what are the selection criteria to achieve the highest score in the ranking.
First of all, it must be said that the public grant is granted if the investment envisaged by the project is more than 80 thousand euros e contributes up to a maximum expenditure of 1,5 million. The admissible interventions are those foreseen in the Ministerial Decree and therefore the replacement or modernization of processing, storage and packaging plants for extra virgin olive oil and related by-products or processing waste in order to improve environmental performance especially in the production and management of pomace and vegetation waters. They are also eligible, for one maximum percentage equal to 20% of the total amount of the intervention, the expenses incurred for themodernization or extension of buildings to the extent strictly necessary for the introduction of new plants and technologies and in compliance with the DNSH principle (acronym which stands for Do No Significant Harm, i.e. do not create significant damage to the environment). General expenses are admitted, to a small extent on fees for consulting professionals on building works, machinery, environmental and economic sustainability.
Among the selection criteria, an important role is played by it location, particularly if the investment is in Xylella area (15 points) and maybe in rural, disadvantaged or protected areas (5 more points). They are assigned 10 points, on the other hand, for interventions aimed at improvement of the company's environmental sustainability (new purchases of technologies to be applied to the mill or to be used for the valorisation of by-products - Type B), for theincrease of the transformation capacity into oil, for the possession of organic production certifications, But also environmental or energy process/product certifications, For the 'adherence to quality schemes (PDO or PGI)as well as in case the project had been retained eligible but not financed in PSR tenders.
