New interesting event at theTorchia Oil Mill in Tiriolo (Cz), a dynamic company that combines the production of extra virgin olive oils of the highest quality with training and in-depth initiatives on the olive-growing and oil sector.

For the morning of next saturday june 28th has in fact organised a meeting on the topic “Sustainable olive growing to enhance oil and territory” which will be attended by authoritative experts in the sector to provide ideas and reflections on a production that is able to contain not only the unique aromas and flavours of quality extra virgin olive oil, but also profound identity values ​​that themselves become tools for narration and promotion.

Organized and coordinated by Lucia Talotta, the conference will see the greetings of Davide Gambarotti, president of the Lions Club of Lamezia Terme, of Francesco Esposito, president of the GAL of the Two Seas, of Antonino Sgro, regional president of the Order of Doctors of Agronomy and Forestry of Calabria, of Fulvia Michela Caligiuri, director of the Regional Company for the Development of Calabrese Agriculture (Arsac) and of Joseph Zimbalatti, rector of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria.

The interventions of will follow Sonia Ferrari, professor at the University of Calabria on “Roots tourism and oil tourism for the valorization of territorial identities”, Adolfo Rosati, researcher at the Crea of ​​Spoleto on “Agroecological management of the olive grove to increase productivity and sustainability” and Barbara Alfei, technician and head of AMAP Marche panel on “Olive biodiversity, monovarietal oils and terroir: an all-Italian peculiarity”The conclusions will be entrusted to Enzo Perri, director of Crea di Rende.
