Il Bonamini oil mill, recognized at an Italian and international level for the quality of its production and commitment to continuous technical research with the aim of combining its 60 years of tradition with growing market demands, could only accept the challenge of Vittoriale degli Italiani and its president Giordano Bruno Guerri: create a special oil with the fruit of its centuries-old olive trees.
Last December 30th, on the occasion of the closing of the celebrations of 160th anniversary of d'Annunzio's birth, the party was held at the Vittoriale 'Like warm, fluid gold', during which the new production of Vittoriale oil, cold extraction “from the pure fruit of the ancient olive trees, Who sing – peace! – in their silent language…” (fromAlcyone by Gabriele d'Annunzio).
Thanks to the precious work of the historian Bonamini oil mill – an oil mill that today includes 5.200 olive trees grown on 21 hectares, reaching a production of oil milled by oil mills Pieralisi di 270.000 bottles a year, distributed in Italy and abroad – the Vittoriale can extract from the 500 centuries-old olive trees that inhabit its spaces the precious extra virgin olive oil 'Geuto'.
“Being able to lend our experience to this project filled us with satisfaction – he explained Giancarlo Bonamini, who together with his wife Sabrina manages the historic family oil mill -. We have always worked with very high quality standards and this attention to detail has allowed us to create an oil with excellent properties".
The new year, in the meantime, with exciting news, the Frantoio is in fact working on a new line of oil which will be called Giancarlo Bonamini Olive grower. “This oil will be obtained from olive trees selected in the Val d'Illasi area, the highest part of the Verona hills, it will be a product of excellence, rmade according to the highest quality standards to create a special line”, underlines Giancarlo. And for 2024 the news doesn't stop here, there will in fact be events, tastings, meetings and more, all to give ever greater prominence to a great oil, awarded internationally, an expression of a territory capable of giving life to excellent products.
