The 19th edition of. successfully closed Golden scissors – National polyconic vase pruning championship organized by AMAP (Marche Agriculture and Fisheries Agency), as part of the event Innovation in the field – Oliveto. Seventy competitors from the regional selections and the training courses and evaluation exams of the Olive Tree Pruning School for reform pruning, on 3 plants each in a maximum time of 30 minutes total. The jury, chaired by Barbara Alfei (AMAP), was composed of Maurizio Corbo (ARSARP), Tiziano Aleandri, Luca Feliziani e Adriano rossi (Olive Tree Pruning School).
The pruning demonstration organized by was very well attended Giorgio Pannelli – Olive Tree Pruning School and the afternoon conference “The olive growing of the future passes through sustainability”,.
Finally the awards ceremony: on the top step of the podium Edoardo Dottori (Marche) 2024 Golden Scissors champion. Runner up Giuseppe Romeo from Calabria, third Andrea d'Elia from Molise, how much Francesco Marsico from Calabria, fifth Francesco Gentili (Marche), sixth Andrea Benelli (Emilia Romagna), seventh Luca Lancuba (Campania) eighth Mauro del Mistro (Friuli), ninth Luciano Ciafardini (Tuscany), tenth Juri Present (Umbria). The best young man was Luca Mariotti of the Cecchi Agricultural Institute of Pesaro. The award for the best team went to the Marche region.
