A marriage between contests for the love of extra virgin olive oil. It could only happen in Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, home of both organizers who have decided to collaborate to promote and reward the best national and foreign oil productions. Sol d'Oro, conceived by Veronafiere 21 years ago, e Silver Aipo, a competition with a more markedly territorial vocation for 20 years, starting this year they will join forces in the creation of the XXI International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition, Scheduled 20 26 to February at the Verona Fair.
The partnership between Sol d'Oro and Aipo d'Argento is aimed at creating further added value for producers who intend to be present at the 21st edition of the Veronafiere International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition. In fact, who will take part in the 20th edition of the Aipo d'Argento International Olive Oil Competition will also be automatically admitted to Sol d'Oro Northern Hemisphere 2023 and will thus be able to benefit from both the sensory judgement in blind test by the international panel that of the organoleptic-chemical evaluation certified by the laboratory of the Association. Access to the will depend on this result second stage, to which only flawless extra virgin olive oils will be admitted. Following the panellists, integrated in number and for foreign origin, will be able to focus exclusively on sensory judgment ensuring a careful selection of products.
The winners will then be presented in dedicated tastings in the area EVO OIL Tasting on the occasion of Sol&Agrifood (2 – 5 April 2023), will be placed in 'The Winners Guide', a guide dedicated to buyers and delegates of Veronafiere and promoted at international events.
