Gualdo Cattaneo is ready to celebrate the new extra virgin olive oil Dop Umbria and the tradition of bread making, two productions that characterize this territory.
Da Friday 25th to Sunday 27th October returns for the 15th edition, Taste of Bread Taste of Oil, an event promoted by the municipal administration and included in the review Open CrushersThe event offers a rich program of initiatives dedicated to traditions, culture, music and colors among the Gualdo castles and through the streets of the village.
Friday includes an activity for schools at 9am, namely a visit to the Bacci Noemio oil mill accompanied by Angela Canale, president of the Oil Tourism movement , while at 17.30 pm at the municipal theatre the conference 'Oil in pills', which will be attended by representatives of institutions, local associations and professionals to deepen their knowledge of this prized olive derivative from various points of view. On Saturday and Sunday there will be many activities in which you can participate: first of all, the tour of the oil mills, scheduled for two days from 9 am to 15 pm, with a free shuttle bus (departure and return in via E.
