The first training course on oil tourism was born to guarantee new operational, practical and concrete tools that allow olive oil companies, accommodation and catering businesses and tour operators to enhance the offer and build distinctive and captivating food and wine experiences in synergy.
This is the course in Tourism and Oil Management, an unprecedented experiment in Italy, is made by City of Oil and Unaprol, with the scientific support of the Evoo School Foundation, and is intended for participants in the National Oil Tourism Competition: in total, well 245 operators including olive farms, restaurants, oil libraries, museums, historic houses, hotels, agritourisms, tour operators, travel agencies and Proloco.
The training course is divided into 40 hours of lessons in e-learning mode, usable independently, spread over 10 weeks of course (4 hours per week).
Various topics were covered, from the sector scenario to the construction of the visit experience in all its facets (reception, promotion, sale), from communication to the most interesting operational ideas to enrich the know-how of the participants.
