It will ensure the full company energy autonomy the new photovoltaic system that the Pieralisi is finishing on the roof of one of its two warehouses in the industrial area of Jesi. And it is a large-scale plant, with over 2.100 modules which will ensure a total power of one MegaWatt for an estimated production of 1,2 million kWh.
Almost half a million tons of CO2 less

A precise choice, that of theworld leading company in the production of oil mills e among the main players in industrial separation, in compliance with the values of theThe circular economy and full sustainability which it already interprets with many of its machines aimed at water clarification or the recovery and valorization of processing waste.
The energy produced by the photovoltaic system will guarantee theself-sufficiency of the various production cycles of Pieralisi, with a saving not only in economic terms, but also in environmental terms. Once fully operational – by the summer – it will contribute to a carbon dioxide saving of 480 tons/year, equivalent to about 260 cars taken off the road. To absorb that much carbon dioxide, it has been calculated, it would be necessary 48 thousand trees.
A long-term vision

“This investment represents much more than a simple photovoltaic system” had the opportunity to underline CEO Aldino Zeppelli, which in just a year and a half has brought Pieralisi back to the role it deserves on the international scene. “It is the concrete testimony - he added - of our commitment to a sustainable and responsible future. We are proud to announce that the project is now in its final stages and will soon be fully operational. Thanks to this infrastructure, we will be able to significantly reduce our environmental footprint, generating clean and renewable energy that will power our activities and contribute to the well-being of the territory; above all, it will help to significantly reduce transformation costs, increasing the competitiveness of our products by making them independent of exogenous factors. It is a strategic step that strengthens our long-term vision: to innovate, grow and create shared value, with full respect for the environment and the communities in which we operate”.
