Modernization and new olive plantations, a second extension is triggered. Agea indeed, he communicated that is moved from 8 to 29 April the deadline for submitting applications for grants. A postponement, Agea explains, considering the requests received from the various agricultural assistance centers and operators in the sector.
The announcement, as known, has a budget of 30 million, of which 10 for investments in new plants with the obligation of irrigation, adoption of precision agriculture systems with field sensors and use of Italian cultivars, while another 20 will support the modernization of the olive groves with an age equal to or greater than 40 years, through thickening, replanting and varietal reconversion, extraordinary pruning interventions and creation of drip irrigation systems. The beneficiaries of the support will be olive growers associated with producer organizations recognized up to a maximum of 70% of the eligible expenses and in the 'de minimis' regime up to a total of 25 thousand euros. The beneficiary may request the advance of the80% of the contribution due.
