Provide operators in the olive sector with an innovative legislative tool that allows them to implement the activity for a full valorisation of the territory and their productions. This is the main need that has driven the Regional council of the Marcshe to draw up a bill for the exercise of theoil tourism activity  which will now be sent to the Legislative Assembly for consideration.
“We have adopted the extraordinary procedure – explains theregional councilor for agriculture, Andrea Maria Antonini  – because it was deemed necessary to provide an innovative legislative tool in the shortest possible time to operators in the olive sector, in order to facilitate the implementation of new activities closely linked to the regional territory to promote, through oil tourism, as a phenomenon cultural and economic, both the productions of excellence and the places where those productions originate".
“The Marches – continues Antonini – have an olive production sector that is representative of the production area so that a measure such as oil tourism is able to greatly amplify the characteristics of excellence of the products, of the culture of the producers and of the territories of origin, combined with its own tradition and history".
The bill therefore aims to make the olive sector more and more a protagonist, moving in the wake of the integrated planning between the sectors of agriculture, tourism and commerce.
Upstream of the pdl, which is made up of 14 articles, there is the national legislation which defines the guidelines and guidelines for the implementation of oil tourism activities.
A regional list of oil tourism operators will be established for whom and for their collaborators the promotion of training, retraining and professional updating is envisaged.
