From Spain a good marketing lesson of extra virgin olive oil

Likewise, a powerful partnership is being worked on with Rakutén, the largest online sales platform in Japan, to increase sales of Spanish oils throughout the Christmas period. Outdoor advertising will be present in railway stations of the main cities of the country, as well as in the distribution exercises. With a consumption of about half a kilo of olive oil per inhabitant, the Interprofessional believes that the Japanese one is a mature market: in the first nine months of this year the iImports of olive oil from Spain they have reached the 27.225 tons, Equal to Present in several = 57,86% of the total, for a value of 113 million euro.
