“The greater percentage of public support is good, but now it is important not to delay too much”. It is a positive judgment that comes from three main national associations of millers in the aftermath of the ministerial table in which the transposition of the European indications was shared and therefore the increase of state aid to 65% for the 'modernization of the mills financed with Pnrr funds for 100 million euro. A novelty that, however, will have to achieve an authorization step a Brussels of the relative ministerial decree, with the consequence that regional tenders connected to it can not be issued if not in two or, more likely, three months. Here are the reviews of Elijah Pellegrino, Paolo Mariani ed Helium Mint (in order in the photos).

“Let's take what the meeting produced as good – he underlined Elia Pellegrino, president of Aifo, the Italian Association of oil millers – even if there is a real risk of not being able to plan investments for the next oil campaign which should be important in terms of harvesting. There are objectively those who have been waiting for up to two years to be able to renew the plant or part of it”.
Paolo Mariani, president of Assofrantoi, he added: "Certainly a good result as decided unanimously, first because it uniforms Italy without distinctions, second because it increases the amount of support from 40 or 50% depending on the regions up to 65% that is in practice two thirds of the expenditure, third because it encourages the new generations, guaranteeing support of up to 80%. Then there is the 20% tax credit which makes the prospect even more interesting”.
And if you have to wait a little longer for tenders, time should not be wasted, he points out Elio Menta, president of Foa, Frantoi Oleari Associati: “Let this be an opportunity – he explained – to clarify some aspects of the decree on which a certain confusion of interpretation had arisen. The FAQs on which anyone can then find precise and punctual answers must be well defined. Our association is already working to offer the Ministry a series of concrete cases with respect to which to give useful indications, so as to allow those intending to make the investment to have all the useful and clear elements available. Especially since this increase in public support will certainly produce greater interest among millers who intend to modernize their plants and therefore it is necessary to arrive at tenders in conditions of maximum certainty".
