Xylella, already reached the number of infected plants of 2021

The mid-August update of monitoring Xylella record, after analyzing almost 28% of the plants to be sampled, others 11 infected plants which carry the seasonal partial, a 146, a number equal to the total of positives found during the 2021 campaign. Until now they have been 81.293 of the 290.843 expected plants were analysed from the Xylella 2022 regional plan, therefore if this trend is confirmed at the end of the campaign, there is a risk of a 3-4 times higher number of last year's total.
Some new positives 9 are olive trees, but have also been found one infected plant of Polygala mirtifolia and one of almond tree: 6 plant infected fall back into two outbreaks di Polignano (1 in the free zone and 5 in the buffer zone), 1 a Monopoli (buffer zone), the rest 4 I'm in the containment zone, 3 in the countryside of Fasano ed 1 in the countryside of Martina Franca (Alberobello area).
