"Sirena d'Oro" award, the winners are revealed in Sorrento

Next Saturday, starting at 10.30, in the council chamber of Sorrento, Italy Olive growing e City of Sorrento will announce the winners of the Golden Siren Award dedicated to PDO and PGI extra virgin olive oils.
The celebratory ceremony will be anticipated by the round table on “PDO and PGI: tools for enhancing Italian quality extra virgin olive oils”, which will be attended by a large number of speakers to implement the debate on the sector and deliver new growth and development prospects to institutional and government representatives. At the end of the round table, there will be the presentation of the trolley of oils and the list of PDO and PGI oils.
After greetings from the mayor Massimo Coppola, of the president of the award Joseph Herculaneum and by the president of the Quality Agro-Food District of the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast Joseph Guide, the meeting in which they will speak will open Louis Polizzi, director general of European Policies of Masaf, the Hon. Mark Cerreto of the Chamber Agriculture Commission, Mariella Passeri Director of the Regional Department of Agriculture, Enrico Micheli for the Agroqualità Notified Third Party Body, Gennaro Sicolo president of Italia Olivicola e Raphael Love president of the IGP Campania.
Subsequently, the presentation of the "cart of oils" and the "chart of PDO and PGI oils" will be by Julian Martin of Italy Olive; of the starred chefs Alfonso Iaccarino and Giuseppe Aversa; of theagronomist Pasquale Crispino of the National Coordination Department of Transparency and Agro-Food and Environmental Safety; by Giuseppe Guida, accountant, Pnrr expert; and finally of Raphael Sacchi, scientific responsible university professor and president of the jury of the Sirena d'Oro award.
