“MixOILogy”, the cocktail with olive oil, debuts at SOL

It leaves from Verona “MixOILogy”, the new trend of using oil in cocktails, which will seeEvoo Bar di SOL, 28th International Olive Oil Trade Show, scheduled until Wednesday 17th at Veronafiere, in conjunction with Vinitaly, two bartenders create innovative drinks in which olive oil becomes an ingredient, mixed with a spirit.

“The name, MixOilogy, was invented by our associate Daniela Ferrando, who wanted to combine the concept of mixology with that of oil - Explains Gabriella Stansfield, President of the Italian Women of Oil Association, a non-profit organization that will propose the route during the event -. We chose to present this initiative at SOL due to the prestige of the international event, which confirms itself as a leading showcase for launching new ideas".

The scheduled appointments

And three, in particular, will be the events scheduled atEvoo Bar (Area C of Veronafiere, inside SOL) in which the two bartenders, Edoardo Bullio and Ludovico Di Clemente, they will present their creations, talking with two expert olive oil tasters, Maria Antonietta Palumbo and Antonietta Mazzeo.

The first was Sunday 14 April at 16pm, with Edoardo Bullio, bartender of the Romeo Cocktail Bar in Verona, who will present the cocktail "Nin", studied together with the starred chef Terry Giacomello and homage to the starred restaurant in Brenzone sul Garda.

Tuesday 16 April (16pm), it will be the turn of Ludovico Di Clemente, bartender and owner of Adelante Caffè di Tocco da Casauria (Pescara) who will present the cocktail “Marticino”, based on gin and Leccino extra virgin olive oil.

Third appointment, again with Ludovico Di Clemente, Wednesday 17 April (16pm), and the cocktail “Touch Basil Fizz”, with oil poured in raw during preparation.
